Michaels mostly eats organic fruits and vegetables, and tries to fit a fermented dairy product into her daily routine. She also claims to have a weakness to bread, and chips. However, when she does eat chips, she searches for healthier options like tortilla chips.
As a general rule, Michaels avoids refined sugars, white carbohydrates, and processed foods in general.
Michaels also adheres to an interesting time-based eating philosophy: eat every four hours. This means eating breakfast at 8:00, lunch at 12:00pm, a snack at 4:00pm, and dinner at 8:00pm. For snacks, she enjoys Popchips, organic string cheese, and whey protein shakes with chocolate and macro greens.
For breakfast, Michaels normally eats a whole-grain Ezekiel with almond butter, and two wholegrain English muffins. For lunch, she usually eats a lean protein with vegetables, like salmon and a salad. For dinner, Michaels opts for a similar lean protein meal with a side of vegetables. She tries not to eat carbs as her last meal.
